About Us
Osteria (oh-steh-REE-ah)
An osteria is a place where friends and family gather to enjoy good food, wine, and conversation, reflecting the essence of Italian hospitality and culinary tradition.
Often characterized by its rustic charm and relaxed atmosphere, an osteria focuses on serving simple, traditional dishes that highlight local and seasonal ingredients.
Alberico (ahl-beh-REE-koh)
The Alberico family's journey began in the picturesque town of San Vittorino in Abruzzo, Italy. Their legacy expanded in Joliet, Illinois, a vibrant blue-collar town. (It's likely that any Alberico in San Vittorino has relatives in Joliet!)
The Albericos, like many Italian families, made their dining table the heart of their home. It was where family and friends gathered to share delicious meals and create cherished memories. Summers were filled with road trips to Colorado, and by 1975, the allure of the Rockies inspired the family to move from Joliet to Colorado.
Every Sunday, the family piled into their van to explore the mountains, not for skiing, but to enjoy the beauty of a new mountain each weekend.
In 2004, Danette Alberico, daughter of Dick and Geri, married Frasca Hospitality Group co-founder Bobby Stuckey.
Osteria Alberico celebrates and continues the Alberico family's legacy, bringing their warmth, tradition, and love to your table.
